College English

English Education Program
College Students in English Education program is designed to give those majoring in the education field the opportunity to take workshop classes related to Teaching English as a Foreign Language, while improving their own English skills.

Hands-on Learning
Students will participate in hands-on experience through classroom observations at local Hawaii schools and micro-teaching demonstrations. Field trips to places of historical, cultural and educational interest enhance the students' learning and understanding of Hawai`i and the U.S. Most program activities will take place on the campus of the University of Hawai`i at Manoa.

Cross-Cultural Living
By experiencing cross-cultural living, participants have the opportunity to develop international friendships. Housing accommodations is typically provided at East-West Center Dormitory for program participants. CAPE makes every effort to keep housing costs to a minimum for participants.
